1.
In the child’s book of
chocolate languages
a house aligns zed, bell,
French, umbrella

Jupiter is windy, they say
worms enliven a walnut
a fish eats the moon
too young to be old enough

2.
I have no power
in Brooklyn, Gaza,
or Tel Aviv

but I can
compost old spices
soak a carousel in the sink
give up on a Misto

3.
Your Yahrzeit candle
lengthens on the counter
after I clean
two wooden spoons
and put a tiger moth
caterpillar outside
